Terms & Conditions
Whilst we do our very best to ensure that all of our parties run as smoothly as possible, there are some events that are beyond our control.
So we have some basic terms that cover both our business and our staff so that we can continue to provide an excellent service to all of our clients.
The following points apply to our client base as a whole:
- When an event is booked and confirmed, a non refundable deposit of 25% is requested to cover all pre-party expenses, licensing requirements, venue checks, hiring of items, etc.
- All additional/Special/Seasonal effects must be paid for in full when ordering to ensure that the appropriate item(s) arrive in time for the event.
- The full balance of the agreed costing must be settled at least seven days prior to the date of the event. This prevents loss to the business should the event not proceed and that date then subsequently cannot be allocated to another client.
- Cancellation of an event (except under extreme circumstances) within the final seven days means that payment of the event will still be required due to the loss of business to 'Its Your Party'
- 'Its Your Party' does reserve the right to cancel an event due to unforseen events or events out of our control. In this instance any monies paid to 'Its Your Party' will be refunded within one week of cancellation.
Fireworks
Please read the notice on the fireworks page of this website for details. we have put measures in place to adhere to the health and safety regulations set out by current legislation. In addition to the notice on the fireworks page the following items are put in place by law.
- proof of identification is always obtained by 'Its Your Party' prior to the completion of any order.
- clients must be aged 18 or over to purchase fireworks or any related merchandise from 'Its Your Party'
- all distance and atmospheric legislation will be followed at all times when planning a display, if the environment is not suitable for the type and size of the purchased product then 'Its Your Party' reserves the right to alter the type of firework to better suit the environment or refuse to commence with the display untli any and all health and safety issues have been satisfied.
Refunds
All special effects and consumable items have been fully checked before sending. in the event of a faulty/damaged product, a refund will only be given once the faulty item and its packaging/invoice/reciept has been returned to 'Its Your Party'. refund will be given within seven days following the return of any item. (this does not effect your statutory rights).
In the event of a returned costume, only those items that have not been in contact with your skin can be returned this is purely for reasons of hygiene.
'Its Your Party' does reserve the right to alter/add/remove any aspect of our terms and conditions without further notice.
